Is there an age limit?

Generally, persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted on tours without express written permission from Dave’s Pub Walks and they must travel with their legal guardian.  For further information please contact us directly.

What should I wear?

Dave’s Pub Walks operates tours in all but the worst of weather conditions.  We recommend you comfortable walking shoes with good grip.

Where do you pick me up from?

Our tours depart from either The Rocks or Balmain, specific meeting points can be found at the tour pages.

Where do you drop me off?

Drop off is in the same area as we started from. Specific details can be found at the tour pages .

Is there a minimum number of people required?

No, you can come on a tour solo if you want.  We’re always up for showing people our local beer scene.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

We have two sorts of gift voucher.  If you think you know what tour someone would like you can purchase a gift voucher for a particular tour.  If you have no idea then you can purchase a gift voucher for a particular value (e.g. $80) and let the recipient decide how they would like to spend it.  You will receive an email with the gift voucher code on it which you can then email to the recipient yourself if you like.  Gift vouchers can be purchased and redeemed online and expire 12 months after the purchase date.  Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more specific details on gift vouchers.

What happens if I need to change or cancel my booking?

If you need to cancel your tour for any reason please contact us as soon as possible. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows: If you cancel your booking: between 0 (day of tour) and 14 days before the tour – no refund between 15 and 30 days before the tour – 50% of the tour price paid per person more than 30 days before the tour – 100% of the Tour price (less non-refundable booking deposit) If you change your booking date: between 0 (day of tour) and 30 days before the tour – $25 per person transfer fee more than 30 days before the tour – no transfer fee

What happens if we cancel a tour?

We reserve the right to change or cancel any bookings. If we cancel a tour we will endeavour to do one of the following: re-book you for another date or tour (subject to availability) transfer your booking to another person refund your payment

What if I have too much to drink?

Even though we are a pub walk we do not condone excessive or binge drinking. We promote responsible drinking of alcohol.  There are a few key points to remember because we want everyone on our tours to have a good time: guests must at all times abide by state and federal laws regarding lawful drinking practices (e.g. Responsible Service of Alcohol) service of alcohol may be refused to persons deemed intoxicated It is your responsibility to carry a valid passport, drivers licence, proof of age card, or other suitable form of identification for the duration of the tour you are responsible for your own behaviour, uncontrollable and disruptive drunken behaviour will not be tolerated any person deemed unruly or disruptive will be removed from the tour and will not be entitled to any refund do not drive after one of our tours, we unfortunately cannot accept any responsibility for your ability to get home once our tours finish At all times the decision of the Dave’s Pub Walks tour leader or representative will be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of the tour.

Can people with disabilities come on your tours?

We welcome everyone however you are required to contact us, in advance, of any physical, medical or other special requirement as not all locations we visit may have the required facilities or access.

Can you do larger group/charter/corporate tours?
